I had a request for princess cookies for a birthday party recently.  I love making all kinds of themed cookies, but truly, the girly princess cookies are one of my absolute favorites!  I did pink crowns with flowers for the girls, castles, and a few yellow/gold crowns in case there were a few "princes" at the party!

Learning new techniques to try for my cookie orders is always lots of fun.  I recently discovered brush embroidery with royal icing.  I am just learning but I cannot wait to perfect it and use it in the future for flower, wedding dress, Christmas tree cookies, etc. Love it!

Childrens Easter Cookies

Happy Easter!!!!!!

This year we hosted Easter at our home and there were several children in attendance, so I thought that it would be fun to have some fun cookies decorated just for them.  We did, chicks, bunnies, eggs, carrots, chevron eggs etc. and almost all of them were done with a simple egg shaped cookie cutter. The bunnies  were the heavy favorite! :)

This year, I wanted to try some more ornate egg cookies since I had seen several on pinterest that were just beautiful!  The ones with the lacework and the bunnies turned out to be my favorites!
